At CCR, we believe in worship that is Christ-centered and Christ-exalting. When, as worshippers, we become lost in the majesty and magnificence of our Creator and Redeemer, we naturally experience a loss of self. It is this focus on God, and not on ourselves, that we strive for each week at Calvary Redding. We lift our voices together with music which is both doctrinally sound and lyrically passionate, with the goal of honoring and glorifying Christ. We believe, as Paul stated, that the church should ..”Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom, and as you sing psalms, hymns and spiritual songs with gratitude in your hearts to God.” (Col. 3:16 )

Our desire would be that we may learn to worship Him privately and corporately, to live in obedience to His Word in all areas of life, and to witness to others about His glorious works in and among people. His glory is our highest goal.
