• Pray for Bangladesh:  1) Last year, Cyclone Sidr hit Bangladesh. We were able to help 1,100 families with relief and shared the hope found in Christ. Pray that the Lord will help the survivors to rebuild their lives.  This country is in a political crisis. The military has been ruling Bangladesh the last one and a half years. Pray that the government will not hinder God's work. Pray for the new believers in eight new churches that were started last year. Pray for the new believers to be strong.

• Although it's been two months since Cyclone Nargis hit Myanmar (Burma), there are still thousands suffering—and hundreds of missionaries working steadily to bring relief and the hope of Jesus.  The first shipment of relief supplies was received successfully by GFA workers. Pray that more relief materials shipped into Myanmar will reach the people who desperately need them  Pray for 90 orphans whom GFA has received permission to care for.

Praise the Lord:

• That as many people have come to Christ through GFA’s missionaries in the first five months of 2008 as did in all of 2007.  That GFA has been able to help thousands of people in Burma through their disaster relief helping to keep many thousands of people alive as well as share the Gospel with them.

• Doreen's health seems to be a bit better than it was.

 Prayer requests:

• That the Government of Burma would open the doors to outside groups to provide disaster relief.  More than 170,000 people have died from Cyclone Nargis and many more people are in desperate need of help.

• Lots of fruit from Strat and Doreen's lives as we serve in the U.S. office of GFA.  For continued improvement in Doreen's health.

• For churches to be impacted and many missionaries and children to be sponsored.
