If you
regularly attend Calvary Chapel Redding and are committed to this fellowship as
your home church, we welcome you to get involved in serving the Lord. If
you are new to the church we ask that you consistently attend for at least six
months to one year allowing us to get to know you and you to become familiar
enough with us so you are able to make a decision to become committed to
serving in this church.
Everyone who desires to serve in any capacity must complete an application and a Servant’s Agreement. Those who desire to serve in the Children’s Ministry must also undergo a background check. Serving on Sunday mornings requires you to be at both services, attending one service and serving during the other.
Children's Ministry
We View this ministry as particularly vital. If you are interested in serving in the children's ministry please contact the church office to arrange for an interview and obtain an application.
Helping Hands Ministry
We offer a helping hand to members of our fellowship by providing meals for families when a baby is born, when serious surgeries or illnesses occur and also for funerals.
"Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all, especially to those who are of the household of faith." Gal. 6:10

Overflowing Cup
Those who serve in this ministry arrive early to set up and stay through two services to clean up. They attend one worship service and serve during the other. This ministry offers many opportunities to get acquainted with others. If you are interested in becoming part of this team, please contact the church office and we will connect you with the one who leads this ministry.
Chapel Bookstore
From time to time we have a need for help in the Chapel Bookstore. Please contact the church office for more information if you are interested in serving in this area.
Sound Ministry
The Sound Ministry is a vital part of our worship service. If you have experience or technical skills in sound engineering there is a need for your help. If you are interested in serving in this area please contact the church office.
Worship Team
There is a need for vocalists and musicians in several areas, on Sunday mornings, Wednesday evenings, adult and children's ministry, and in outreach settings. An interview and audition is required for involvement in the worship ministry. If you are talented in this area and have a servant's heart please contact the church office for more information.
Usher's Ministry
Those who serve in this ministry arrive early to set up and stay through two services. They greet people as they arrive, help with seating and pass out bulletins. They also observe during the service for security purposes. They attend one worship and serve during the other. We currently have a need for additional ushers on Sunday morning, Wednesday evening and special events. If you are interested in becoming part of this team, please contact the church office and we will connect you with the one who leads this ministry.
Cleaning Ministry
In order to maintain a clean and inviting facility we depend on volunteer help to clean the church on Friday mornings. This is definitely a behind the scenes ministry, but a very necessary one. We so appreciate those who are dependable and willing to show up on Friday mornings to clean as a team. This position requires approximately one hour each week. If you are able to serve in this capacity, please contact the church office.
Evangelistic Outreach Team
Our Evangelistic Outreach Team meets several times thorughout the month as they go as a team into neighborhoods, parks and other public places for the purpose of one-on-one evangelism. Whether you have experience in evangelism or not, if you are willing to be challenged and grow in your ability to share the gospel come and join this group as they seek to fulfill the great commission of going into all the world beginning with our "Jerusalem," Redding.
Senior Outreach Ministry
Those involved in this ministry visit Copper Creek Nursing Care, a convalescent home, and Mountain Vistsa Senior Apartments, once a month on Sunday afternoon. They provide a church service, prayer and visitation. We have a need for women to serve currently in this area and also musicians. If you are interested in serving in this ministry please contact the church office.
Redding Rescue Mission
There is opportunity to serve at the Good News Rescue Mission monthly on the 4th Thursday. We provide worship and a Bible study. If you are interested in serving in this ministry please contact the church office for more information.
